Basic Keyboarding skills High School Diploma
or GED if applicant does not have diploma or
GED applicant must satisfactorily complete
an entrance exam.

About the Instructor:

is: Liscensced NYS Dept. Edu.
This curriculum is designed to develop
customer service and workplace skills such
as interpersonal communication
problem-solving and working as a member of a
team. This course will give an overview of
applicable customer service techniques
applicable to a variety of industries such
as retail hospitality travel and tourism.
The course will cover principles of quality
customer service and public relations.
Students will gain the confidence needed to
make effective decisions and handle customer
complaints. Participants are also trained
in keyboarding I, which is useful for a
customer service agent in taking messages
and inputting data into the computer; as
Microsoft Word. The student will be able to
type memos, letters, send emails and access
the internet Formal Procedures on resume preparation; job search
and interviewing techniques will be taught which will make
them more marketable. All students will be
provided with job placement assistance.
